How do you make Bocados de Praia®?
The secret of our products is precisely the manual work we perform and that is the reason for the success of our brand. We guarantee that our Client will receive an original piece unlike any other ever made. This is why we don’t disclose our secret.
Where can I buy the seashells used by Bocados de Praia®?
Through our Facebook page you can browse the shells that we sell and send us your request.
Does Bocados de Praia® have any physical shop where I can purchase the products?
You can acquire our products in our workshop in Setúbal (Portugal), with prior appointment, from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 11 pm. Call us at (+351) 963 320 851 to make an appointment.
You can also buy from our selected retailers. For more information contact us to see if there are any Bocados de Praia®’s retailers near you.
Do I have to create a user account to buy from the online store?
Yes. There are many advantages to being registered in our shop, including receiving our newsletter with news and information regarding sales, checking your order history, receiving exclusive discounts, among others.
Do you send orders to my country?
Yes, we ship worldwide. You can quickly check the shipping cost to your country by registering in our online shop and simulating your purchase.
For orders over 20kg for Portugal Mainland and Islands and over 30kg for International orders, please contact us before finalizing your purchase so we can calculate the shipping costs for you.
How and when my order is shipped?
Usually orders are sent by courier within a maximum of five working days after confirmation of payment. The shipping deadlines are as follows:
Mainland Portugal - up to 3 business days.
Portuguese Islands (Azores and Madeira) - 5 days to 11 business days.
European Union - 5 business days.
Rest of the World - 7 business days.
My order hasn’t arrived within the specified time. How should I proceed?
If you received an email with shipping confirmation and your order didn’t arrive within the time above, contact us using the contact form, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by telephone (+351) 963320851 from 10am to 7pm on working days, stating your order number. In case of loss or impossibility to deliver to the recipient, the Anomaly Detection Service may take 14 business days to confirm the occurrence, during this period no refund is made.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by bank transfer or by Paypal.
PayPal is a well-known online payment method that allows the use of multiple cards. By creating an account you can start making online payments safely.
Orders that aren’t paid within three days will be cancelled.
My order has arrived damaged. What shall I do?
If your order has arrived visibly damaged on the outside, open the package in the presence of the carrier to see if there is any damaged item. If that’s the case, don’t sign the good reception guide that comes with the parcel, instead write those claims or damage. Please contact us immediately (24 h) by sending us a copy of the guide in question, by email. We can't accept complaints that do not meet these requirements.
The product I bought online doesn’t match the piece I received. Why?
Bocados de Praia®'s product images are only illustrative and may not match what the customer receives, due to its handmade nature. The same applies to the candles and tea-lights that will be sent in random colours, depending on the existing stock.
Do the shades come with the Lamps?
No. The shades in the pictures of the Lamps are only for illustrative purposes.
